Dadaism

Dadaism

Never ever heard about this. When I first heard about it the only thing that hit into my mind was "Brother" because in Nepali language we use to call "DADA" to our elder brothers. Later when we saw a video about this topic I felt weird, excited, funny, senseless, stupid, nonsense and I don't know how to express all those feelings in one word. But somewhere, I was feeling a wings of freedom on that senseless art, a feeling of childish, a feeling of selfless, a feeling of connection without any connection.

My Process of Dadaism
The first thing I get myself into a confusion with the question that was roaming around my head "How to start this?" Later I started searching things, anything that could get into my dadaism art. I started cutting the things that was easily been captured into my eyes. The most weird part of my Dadaism art was the sanitary pad wrappers, a picture of a lady from my Bindi's card and a pictures from my parachute air oil bottle posters. The cut-out elements of people shows different expressions, including the abstract symbols and portraits of brand logos, objects like handbag, cars  and everything is arranged randomly which disrupts logical connections.

Memory of my Dadaism Art
Every thing at home got into pieces. The shopping bags were teared apart, the pictures from every part were missing. Everyone in the family started asking me and I was making excuses for my assignments. "What kind of assignment is this?' was the most asked question by my family and my only answer was DADAISM.
